ATM NETWORK TERMINATION UNITS
RAD's ATM access devices are carrier-owned, customer-located multiservice
demarcation devices for extending carrier management and control up to the customer premises, defining a boundary between ATM-based public
services and the customer private network.
The devices allow service providers to offer LAN, ATM, voice/TDM, and Frame Relay services over ATM networks. A clear demarcation point at the customer premises ensures end-to-end QoS and traffic and network management control.
The versatile Integrated Access Devices enable carriers to take advantage of low-cost DSL infrastructure in the Last Mile to provide legacy leased line and Ethernet services over ATM or packet switched networks and DSLAMs.
