Metrostar Access Concentrator
The Metrostar System is a compact and flexible Multi-Service
Access Concentrator. It houses a variety of conversion modules as well as WDM modules.
Each module connects to a remote CPE/NTU located at the user end providing fibre optic connectivity and IP-less OAM (based on either FibroLAN's unique MA protocol or 802.3ah).
While originally designed for carriers, the system also provides a high end, cost effective solution for enterprise networks.
